1. Educational and Media Purpose
The website and podcast provide educational, informational, media, and general wellness content. They are not a substitute for individualized medical, mental health, legal, nutritional, spiritual, or other professional services.
2. No Therapist-Client or Other Professional Relationship
Diana S. Rice may hold professional credentials and licenses, but on The Holistic Counselor Podcast and this website her role is host, educator, interviewer, and media creator unless a separate professional relationship is expressly established through an appropriate agreement. Viewing the website, listening to the podcast, contacting the show, or applying to be a guest does not create a therapist-client, counselor-client, coach-client, consultant-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, or other professional relationship.
3. No Crisis or Emergency Services
The website and podcast are not crisis services and are not monitored for emergencies. If you believe you or another person may be in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
4. Accuracy and Use of Information
We aim to present thoughtful, responsible, and useful content, but mental health, medical, wellness, legal, cultural, and faith-related information evolves. Content may not be complete, current, or appropriate for every person. You are responsible for evaluating information and seeking qualified professional guidance when appropriate.
5. Guest and Third-Party Views
Podcast guests speak from their own expertise, research, professional judgment, lived experience, or personal perspective. Their opinions do not necessarily represent the views of The Holistic Counselor Podcast, Diana S. Rice, or affiliated businesses. Inclusion of a guest, resource, product, treatment approach, or organization does not automatically constitute endorsement.

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original text, branding, graphics, podcast content, downloadable materials, photographs owned by The Holistic Counselor, and other original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. You may access content for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, distribute, modify, scrape, or create derivative commercial works from protected content without permission, except as allowed by law.
Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used only as permitted by law or agreement.
7. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, defamatory, or malicious purposes.

Prospective guests may be required to complete the designated guest application. Submission does not guarantee selection, scheduling, publication, or a response. Selected guests may be asked to sign additional releases or recording terms before publication.
Applicants are responsible for submitting accurate information they have the right to share and must not submit confidential client, patient, or other protected third-party information.
9. Sponsorships, Affiliates, and Paid Relationships
Some podcast episodes, links, or recommendations may involve sponsorships, affiliate relationships, complimentary products or services, or other material connections. When applicable, those relationships should be clearly disclosed. Visitors remain responsible for their own informed decisions, especially regarding health or wellness products and services.
10. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may link to third-party websites, podcast platforms, social media, forms, products, services, books, providers, or organizations for convenience or educational purposes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent applicable federal law or other mandatory law provides otherwise.
14. Changes, Severability, and Waiver
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
